The Prineville-Crook County Chamber of Commerce & Visitor’s Center welcomes you to enjoy, explore and experience the high desert from the oldest city in Central Oregon.

We are charged with two main functions:

1. As a Chamber of Commerce our staff, board of directors, and committees have a responsibility to our membership to encourage a positive economic and business climate in our community and region. To do this, we continuously advocate and promote local businesses, encourage citizens to shop locally, and provide discounted advertising and free networking opportunities for our membership.
2. As a Visitor’s Center, we are typically the first stop for people looking to vacation or relocate to our area. We offer a large number of brochures and magazines that will assist visitors with their vacation plans. Many people visit our area year after year, as they find more to explore and enjoy a relaxed trip to the high desert. Frequently, you will find that current residents of Prineville-Crook County moved here after falling in love with our area on a vacation. Our Visitor’s Center also has dozens of brochures and magazines featuring other great areas around Oregon to visit and vacation. We encourage local residents to stop in before planning their next trip to the coast, Portland, Northeastern Oregon, Southern Oregon, or the Gorge.
